I feel like your remix has more substance than mine, since I was told mine was kind of empty. This has more to it, which is good. The drop is strange, but you can get better. I cheated by not making a drop xD!! So if I make a new version, I will try to drop the bass. Now I usually make my own house tracks, because I make not very good dubstep/glitchhop/DnB at the moment. By the end of your remix it is kind of claustrophobic, because too much is going on. However you have good variety. Someone told me that less is more, but to an extent. Try to apply that. I never heard of Sonar X3, so I don't know specifics on improving on it, but I think you will get better, with experience. I know I have greatly changed since my Windfall remake. Good luck with your music!!!

Gravidi responds:

Thanks for the review. This is one of my older songs, and I definitely agree with what your saying. The drop is awkward, and the end is kind of weird as well.

get it gold but it's old? xD

I think it has potential, go for it!

Ravitex responds:

It's basically one of those projects that had a good start but never got finished.
And this is quite an old one.
But thanks for the feedback anyway!

Alright, not too bad. What's in the background at 00:19? The melody of that sound doesn't seem to match with the song. Risers are also too intense, when the drops should be more defining for the track. You have good format for the song, but it needs improvement. The high pitched part at 02:53 is too different. Your sounds have to blend into the track. When everything comes together at the end it sounds kind of nice. :D
After time your music should sound better. Just keep doing it, you'll see. Good luck!

PS my second song was shit (much much worse than this) so I think you'll get better!

FillipsMen responds:

Thanks a lot for your review m8 ;) I always try to do my best and with the practice and time i'll get better!

Well, glad to see you're back with this track. This is awesome in a way that is hard to describe (xD). Honestly it's not my style but I really enjoyed it. Making music is not about competition anyways and we are all here to help each other out with this stuff. Hope there is more to come from you, because I need to create a style and yours may help me to finalize one for my self.

Keratz101 responds:

Thank you Bradley! I agree that music isn't about competition, it's about expressing yourself into it. :) In my opinion, I don't think you really "create" a style, I think you just go on and do what you feel like and then have the music write itself, and if you're having fun then that's your style! Well at least for me xD Good luck on your music! :)

Just to be clear this is a collaboration with EnNinja and I. I think we did a pretty good job. :D

EnNinja responds:

Yeh

For the first drop when I heard the preview I was half expecting there to be a heavy drop and then I saw the stream and realized how much better it is this way! Awesome job Detious!

DetiousMusic responds:

There was only like 8 bars of heavy basses in this track :P

Glad you you enjoyed man. :)

Have a piano before this part and have it develop into this. This has potential. Try to find ways to make it less muddy. So this is drumstep... okay I gotta try.

Ravitex responds:

Thanks for your feedback!

Well, the muddyness is one problem... right... Actually, this is one of my older projects that I had never finished. I used different mastering & mixing methods back then and now I'm basically trying to rebalance this blast from the past thing.

I don't know if this is exactly drumstep, but it's pretty close to it. Drumstep is basically dubstep with Drum & Bass elements and higher tempo (around 160-174 beats per minute).

Why do I feel so awesome every time someone does a collab? xD

The song progresses well and has a good variety. Since it isn't really a genre I can't give tips based on a template of a genre in my mind lol.

*SPOILER ALERT*

That beep in the end scared me!!!

NeoMusiKa responds:

Beep!
Thanks!!

Wow, nice to see more house of quality! This is nice. Personally a little more power in the build ups would be nice, but it almost perfect as is. Keep it up!

Dalux responds:

Thank you for commenting! You motivate me :D

Glad to see you are alive, I won't criticize this too much because it was your first track, I just want to tell you your friends were kind of right, but I've heard plenty of worse songs. Keep up your style with tracks I've seen previously!

nitrokill217 responds:
